The College Board administers the SAT, a standardised test required for admission to undergraduate schools. The SAT is formerly known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test, has its full name as the Scholastic Assessment Test. SATs are designed to evaluate candidates' written, verbal, and mathematical skills. In the United States and Canada, those who intend to pursue undergraduate courses are required to take the SAT exam.
Colleges in the United States use the ACT as a standardised test for admission. It is currently administered by ACT, a nonprofit organisation of the same name. The ACT test covers four academic skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and scientific reasoning. Additionally, it offers an optional writing test.
The SAT / ACT tests can seem intimidating to students applying to US universities. To help ease students' stress and anxiety, we offer SAT / ACT Preparation courses that ease them into these tests' unique format and provide them with personalized recommendations about which test will best fit their abilities. You will be equipped with techniques such as skimming and scanning, identifying key words, interpreting ambiguous questions, and spotting incorrect options through elimination.
